The roller rink is basically across from the parking area for the TT
Directions to Carlisle TT and Hill Climb
To reach the TT course, here's how to go:
From 81, take exit for Hanover Street/Rt. 34 SOUTH, travel several miles to the stop light at Old York Rd./174...there will be an old stone farm house on the right corner...turn right....****go several miles to N. Dickinson School Road...turn right....you will pass the school on your right (this is where registration will be on Sat. a.m.)....keep going to the "T"...turn LEFT......about 1 mile down the road, just before a cow barn, you will see Locust Lane...you can park your car along the side of the road here....this is the road we use for staging....once on your bike, turn RIGHT out of Locust Lane...this is the course....it is marked in increments of 5K in yellow spray paint....the turn around point is just past a company that makes boom lifts (you'll see them all over the property)...it is marked with yellow arrows indicating a turnaround...basically, the course is Walnut Bottom Rd. - there are no turns - just pretend you are a car and follow that main road.
From 15 North, take exit for 94 NORTH, 94 will turn into 34 NORTH...go through Mt. Holly Springs...once out of Mt. Holly, look for Old York Rd./174...there will be an old stone farm house on your left corner...turn LEFT...*****(as above)
To reach the Hill Climb, take Walnut Bottom Road all the way out, like you are doing the TT...keep going past the turnaround until you see a Sunoco station on your left...immediately past the Sunoco is Hershey Rd. - turn left here (hard to see - you'll think you're going onto 81, but you're not)....you will go past Pharoh's truck stop on your right, past a mobile home park, then you will come to a stop sign at Airport Rd......turn RIGHT at the stop sign then take an immediate right into Southampton Township Park - this is where registration and parking will be for the HIll Climb. Once on your bike, turn LEFT out of the park and then take an immediate right and go under the railroad track tressel....go to the "T" and turn LEFT...at the "Y" bear RIGHT....keep going straight...this road takes you right up the mountain...I believe it is marked in increments of 1, 3, 5, and 7 miles. I think the fastest time last year was 21 minutes (a young stud posted that) and the slowest was 43 minutes)...we will have (if there isn't an emergency) a state trooper leading the field up the mountain to slow cars coming the opposite direction...it's fun
